Happy Easter

I've never been religious, so my idea of celebrating was to paint bunny rabbits on my thumb nails and bounce around work all day chiming "Bunny!" to anyone who hadn't already fled. :) It's a good thing my co-workers are already convinced of my lack of sanity. ^__^
I used a ton of colors, but the predominant background green is Zoya Apple.
In prior nail polish news, last time's black galaxy nails didn't even last two days before I chipped them. (Painfully. I was not watching where my hands were.) So I did a quick wipe and three layers of just sparkle, which lasted so little time that I didn't even have a chance to take a picture. x_x After that I did a simple teal-glitter gradient, and managed to snap a quick phone pic.

By which point this one had also decided to chip and I think I was convinced that it was not a good week for nails. x_X
This is the one I finally got to stay put for a while, which I did in honor of SPRING! Which is finally here! 70 degrees baby! It lasted up until yesterday, with only one small chip, which is when I stripped it to do the easter one. :)

And this one is what I did to Dezzy last week. Sunset! Five color layers, one basecoat, one topcoat. Wheee!

One thing I noted while I was doing all the itty bitty flowers on the Easter nails was that I really appreciate how thick Zoya makes their polish. The China Glaze flower petals are kinda translucent, and usually needed two or three coats, while Zoya could be done in one. It's something to be aware of when you're layering, because if the polish you're using isn't fully solid, it looks strange over a base coat.
