You know, I didn't think I'd really been much of a 'doll person' prior to finding BJDs, but then a recent conversation with someone reminded me that not all dolls are three dimensional. And I was a huge fan of paperdolls as a child. Still am.

Most of my doll collection. In the upper-right corner you can see the old briefcase I store them in. It used to belong to my grandfather, ages ago.
Close ups:

Pebbles & Bam-Bam, Rainbow Brite, unknown girl, a First Lady of the USA, and oldskool Barbie.

Barbie & Midge, Disney heros & heroines, Shirley Temple, Midge, very old dolls with hair, mini versions thereof, a random band uniform chica.

There's Shirley Temple again, a Happy Bride duo, more of band chica, a random doll, some stick-on clothes dolls, and the other First Lady.

And the ones I forgot to dig out of the briefcase pockets when I took the big pictures. ^^; Barbie and Dolly Dingle. <3 Dolly was a postcard doll, and my grandmother used to send them to me. I can decipher which doll has which clothes and accessories by the color and slant of my grandmother's handwriting on the back. *laugh*
One of these days when I'm feeling masochistic, I'll dig out my old Rose Petal Place books and take a picture of the paper dolls I attempted to make from RPP characters. ^^;;; They're baaaddd...
