Of Mice and... Chickens?

So, some of you might remember me posting about how my mom's dog chases mice?



So do her chickens. ^^; Apparently mice are very tasty.

What's funnier is, the cat is the only pet who won't eat them! She'll play with them for a bit if she's bored, but then she'll let them escape.

Unfortunately, we found out our dog chases mice. My mother screamed before he could get ahold of it.

But you know, that reminds me of a story I have hidden in the bowels of my writing folders... I actually wrote it with you in mind, but then I... don't what happened to it.

It's about Prince Chicken and someone... I don't remember the plot...

Prince Chicken... is a very goofy story. 'bout a Prince, and he's a chicken/rooster Prince, and he's the ruler of the Chicken Kingdom and he falls in love with the Penguin King or something... it's fluffy.

My mother told me once that when she went to the Farmer's Market, she was chatting to one of the people who sold eggs and he had some chickens, and suddenly the chickens went crazy, clucking and chasing something on the ground. One of them tossed it up in the air, and mom saw it was a mouse, and then they tossed it up again, and one of the chickens swallowed it whole('course, since they don't really have teeth, that's kinda how they'd have to eat it, huh?). So yeah. Mice. They is delicious, apparently.

The cat won't eat them because cats are picky, picky eaters. One of our cats actually stopped eating when my mom changed our brand of cat food. -___-' It's completely ridiculous.

my cat's the same, except she won't even eat any of the other flavors from the same brand name. i'm worried what will happen when we need to switch her to the older cat type.

but when we lived in the country she caught and killed mice...i don't know if she ate any, though.

It's a little unnerving to see chickens chase down a mouse and then play tug of war between themselves with it. Mice can squeak/scream.
