So far, I've got Sininen, Vesi, and Laine for possibilities. Unless of course linchan pops up and tells me that those would make horrible names, anyway. ^^;
*still pondering* I need to quit calling him 'Blue baby'. x.x
Gift = Lahja Treasure = Aarre (actually a male's name) Sparkle = Kipinä (in Finnish this word is a verb, not reallly a noun... that was the closest I could come. Krimie, any ideas? ^^)
I kind of guessed your doll would be a male. :D I'm sure most people won't know if the name is meant for female or male so it's okay. Right? *giggles*
Tian is a B&G doll that I got off ebay because B&G's website is so awful. The one I'm trying to name now is a Bobobie doll, which was ordered from the company via a group order to save on shipping. :) There's a forum (Den of Angels (http://www.denofangels.com/forums/index.php)) that has aalllll sorts of information on this type of doll. ^__^ I frequent it constantly.
Oh, those are rather nice words too. I like both Lahja and Kipina... and Rapple typoed Sininen as Sinnien, which is pretty too... @.@
Thank you for the information! :D Let's see what happens when I start to explore...
Naming things is really difficult. I am really bad at it... which is why my sister usually ends up doing it. If I ever have children... I wish I could just name them "Child number 1" and so on. That would be so evil. Poor kids.
I can usually make up names from random letters, but that ability failed me for little blue doll. x.x; So I resort to naming method #2, which is pretty words in foreign languages. :)
Lahja is actually used as a female name. How do I know this? It's my grandmothers middle name ^^
Sparkle = Loiste (sparkle in reference to snow, or other shiny surfaces, kipinä = a spark from a fire)
Heh, glad to know the problem with naming is pretty much universal. It sucks not to be gifted with any kind of imagination. I so envy you people that manage any kind of creativity.
