tygatiToday I beat the PS1 game 'Vampire Hunter D' for the very first time. >.> Now mind you, I bought the thing back when it was released... in Sept 2000. x.x
My PS1 died several years back, and there is absolutely no way in hell I can play that game without a Gameshark. The controls are simply that awful. Not to mention, as Mikey finds endlessly humorous, no matter what game I'm playing I can't seem to jump right. -_-;
So he got me a PS1 for my birthday (and gave it to me a little early for a variety of reasons) and I attempted VHD once again. Mostly just grit my teeth and declared that I WOULD finish the sucker this time. x.x But damn. Really, the only fun part of the whole thing is D's swishy walk, the way you can hide in your cape, and the smexiness of drawing his sword to attack. That's it. x.x
It's also got a seriously whack version of the storyline, considering it came out around the same time as the second VHD movie. >.>; There are three possible endings to the game. I saved my game right before each ending-altering option, but I haven't yet decided whether or not I'm masochistic enough to go play the thing again to see them. x_x
My poor D. The ultimate sexy hunter and they put him in the worst game ever. ;_; 'Scuse me while I go read M's Locke & Key stories to erase the horrible.
