Forgot to upload these. Huh. 9.9 Alice and I were talking a little while back about the fact that Tektek didn't have any good hair for Julian, and Alice reminded me of Elouai, which is quite extensive as long as none of your characters have a skin color other than peach. :P

But for vampires, it suffices. (Hmm... I wonder what color skin African vampires would have... 9.9) I also wound up doing Selan again while I was there, because I stumbled across an outfit that was just perfect. ^^;; Oh, and a Tektek Karai doll I forgot I made... 9.9 Huh.


Julian and Sebastian. ^__^ While Julian doesn't really change much over time, Sebastian's hair changes with his whim, so take this with a grain of salt. 9.9 Hrm. They look kind of odd standing side by side. Julian is way taller than Sebastian... Pooh.

Also, because it amused the hell out of me...

OMG, Sebastian is so squeee!!! Julian doesn't have a chance. Also, Julian's eyes and mouth are so perfect.^^

Selan, looking pretty.^^ I love the flower petals, and the swirly robes.

Karai is all-black. >.> I knew I never managed to convey that properly in the writing... but he has black hair, black eyes, black skin, black wings, black feathers, and wears black clothes. Raven god. ^^;

Elouai is fun. ^__^ If a bit overwhelming with the choices. ^^;;;

And yes, Julian's pretty darn close. He prefers to have his hair tied back, but... ^.~

African vampires?
Maybe you could do a verse where vampirism, along with other typical traits, extracts all the melanin (sp?) out of the skin... resulting in albaster-ish vamps. :)

Mmm, I was more thinking that it made them paler, but not totally white in the case of Africans... something like that. Pretty sure the vampire who made Julian was African. ^^; Hence why I'm pondering the problem. ^^;;;

No - when being tossed in the sun, they get red. Ouch, sunburns. *shivers* Though I assume a silvery sheen from being turned into a vampire would make way more bloody sense than golden.

I haven't touched the VCs in ages, either. The only Ricean books I've read recently are the "Sleeping Beauty" ones, and that's because I'm a pervert. I still don't get it how the author of those books would end up a religious fanatic, though - and I sincerely hope I won't be in her shoes when I'm 50.
