tygati: (Superman Returns - edge away from the sc)

So this morning I went about my fuzzy still-asleep routine, checking email and all that, and eventually got up and wandered down in search of food. On my way down, I happened to glance out my bedroom window...

I'd probably be annoyed if I had to work today, and I probably will be a tad annoyed tomorrow when I have to drive in it, but it's kinda amazing how being free of the stuff for nearly two years will gradually allow you to see the beauty in it again...

Which is not to say I want to live in it again, Mme Nature, but once a year I think I can handle. :P Just don't let it stay too long. ^.~

I'm actually kinda impressed that there are people out driving in it. Most natives of this area royally freak out when the white stuff hits the streets... ^^;;

:D It's been kinda like that here for a few days. Last week it was exactly like that for two days straight. But I can still see grass under the trees! Lucky! I'm over in Wisconsin, so I'm kinda buried under a foot or so of it all yet.

It's really pretty from the vantage point of a window. It's not so pretty from the vantage point of a moving car. Much luck driving to work tomorrow.

I'm glad you're sharing pretty pictures tough. I love how trees covered in snow look.

*LOL* I was one of the crazies out driving in it this morning. My place looks similar and it's still coming down thick.

I was going to wear these really warm boots this morning while I was out in it and for the life of me I can't find them. Blah! It wasn't too cold this morning but now I'm glad I'm near my furnace and just looking out at it.

I want my boots... >.> All I have here are pretty boots, not warm boots. Pooh. I want the old driveway-shoveling moon boots...

Is it all snow? It kind of look like ice rain on the first picture. We have about my height of snow outside here so we're used to driving in it but it's always dangerous. Especially since you probably don't have winter tires on your car. Be careful!!!

It's all snow. It won't get nasty until it gets a chance to melt and then re-freeze. x.x That's no fun at all...

And no, my snow tires got left in Idaho. Didnt' really need them if it only snows here once a year. ^^;

It sort of looks like the trees in pictures one and two are on fire and my reaction to that was: "oooh, pretty!" *facepalm*

But it is pretty. And just the idea of fire and ice coexisting is fascinating and very pretty to look at. What is the orange-y red glow, anyway? Lights?

... Streetlight. Okay. *facepalm again* And I thought I got over my "fire pretty!" stage. Apparently not. *snickers*

*grin* One of my oldest and dearest characters is a pyrokinetic. I do badly want to write his story, but.. he was created during my depressed high school days, so I doubt I could really write him properly these days when everything I produce seems to be sugar-infused...

Ah well. But we love your sugar-infused goodness. So all is well with the world. But a pyrokinetic fic would be cool. You could sort of change his story around, make it sugar-induced? XD

Mmmm, no, I don't think I could. His world is very dark, and not remotely suited to Fluff. I'll just have to come up with some other Firestarter that I can make fluffy. ^^; Maybe I need to go watch the movie/s again... >.>
