For [livejournal.com profile] mechante_fille and anyone else who's ordered M's books and is wondering why the hell it's taking so long to 'fulfill'.

I wrote to Lulu support posing the question. This is the response I got:

Paperbacks generally take 3-5 business days to fulfill. However, due
to the holiday rush, orders that were placed by the Christmas
deadline are getting top priority.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

.......... so nice of you to tell us in advance. *grumble*

I was wondering about that, but figured that something like that was going on. Still it would have been nice for them to warn us.

WTF? I ordered your book and M's with like a 2 days difference and your book shipped before I even had the time to add M's to the order.

*whines* But, I waaaaants! I do hope they come by New Years. I wanted to show them off. *crosses fingers*

Also, I really do not remember seeing anything about how long the fulfilling would take, busy season or not. Having 5 or 6 choices of shipping, with those time periods clearly stated, led me to believe that's how long it would take, you know. Perhaps I did not read the fine print carefully enough. Ah, well. They will get her when they get here.

Thanks for passing that on, hon. *hugs*

Hey you! *glomps* I just got your book in the mail today!! (It did this interesting thing where it shipped out of Michigan, went to Greensboro, NC and sat there for a couple of days, then shipped back to the exact same place in Michigan that it shipped out of before coming to my door. La, the USPS does amuse...) Considering that I was told it shipped on the 17 and it was supposed to be two days to get to me, I'm just happy it's here.

*twirls you about* ZOMG, SO PRETTY! ^____________________________^

I got your book today!!! It is lovelies!!!! Yay Beldon! Yay Herb! Yay Beldon AND Herb! *giggle*

I was so excited I even told my mom what it was! A book by one of the authors I read on online! I had to show it to her and she asked what it was a about...

"It's a new telling on Beauty and the Beast..."

"Maybe I would like to read it..." she says.

The horror must have shown on my face because then she said,

"Maybe not..." She smiled at me and walked away, thank god!

I can't wait to read it!

Hee Hee! I just spent a very enjoyable christmas eve curled up in front of the space heater with my new favorite book! It was great! I loved loved loved the fact that I could read it in my living room with none the wiser! Yay for reading dirty books in public...! Semi-public at least.

I really liked Caging the Beast which I had not previously read (How did that get past my notice?). It was all great, especially the hot extras!

I must have been blushing like mad, but nobody commented (I really am very prudish).

All in all, the best Christmas eve ever!!!!

I still can't get over it... an actual book, by one of my favorite authors online! I feel like crying, I am so happy for you... next step... MAINSTREAM publishers!

Hee. ^^ <3

No idea how you missed it. ^^; Well, it was one of last year's stories, so maybe that's how? Glad you liked it anyway. #^.^#

*lol* Nah. I'm not really looking to be officially published. Lulu works just fine for my schemes of "easily-accessible portable reading material." ^.^
