Stupid Trillian. x.x Not signing on to AIM. Or anything else for that matter. *twitch* Managed to connect last night, sent a message to M, and then Ooops, you're disconnected. And no, we don't feel like reconnecting you to the server. *twitch twitch*

So, I think I'll just go downstairs and see about improvising some frosting for my gingerbread cookies. 9.9 There's a paltry few of them (Gingerbread apparently doesn't go far) but I can at least make them semi-cute with what I have on hand. Kinda want red sprinkles (I have green) but ah well. Not important.

Oh, but I should type up my meager Space Dragons offering first. >.> I really did want to end this chapter before now so I could make my nifty fanfic challenge, but it is so dragging on longer than anticipated. x.x;; Mergh. Those of you who have seen my usual notes? Yeah, I've got like three pages of the fuckers and they're nowhere near detailed. I don't seem to know exactly what's happening in a scene until it actually happens. x.x;;

Did you update to the latest Trillian (1.9 or somesuch)? Because if not, that might be causing your issues.

o.o; I thought Gingerbread cookies were like a Christmas staple. o.o;; I have two shaped like people, four snowmen, trees, stars, bells, santa claus, umm... there's one reindeer... 9.9 *thinkthink*

You want the recipe? It's pretty standard, IMHO, except for the buttermilk cause we never have any on hand and I have to buy it special. x.x Oh, and most people other than me don't normally have molassas in their cupboards... >.>

I have no idea what buttermilk is but I'll check in my English-French dictionary maybe I know what it is. ^^;; I used to have molasses when I made molasses cookies all the time but no more!

It's babeurre! I never made anything with babeurre in it! It shall be a first!

My family pretty went went like "OK, so we don't want to see you so please don't show up kthxbye." And my sister went on a trip in the states (Chicago!).

Heh, yeah, gingerbread is the only think I know of that takes it. ^^; I've learned to only get the little 1/2 cup size cartons, cause otherwise all the excess goes to waste. When my parents were together my dad would drink the leftover buttermilk/babeurre, but that was a long time ago. >.>

o.o Okay, you're worse off than me. My mom's off visiting my brother, and then my grandparents, and she was the only one within range for me to visit for Christmas. My brother's about 10 hours north of here, and my grandparents are a 1-2 day drive south. x.x

Yay recipes! Christmas cookies are love. And sharing them spreads the love around. ^____^ *flips through recipe box*

It's OK I'm used to it! My family was never very united. It still beats last year! (I spent the holidays at the hospital having a stroke XD;; )

Hee. ^^ Cookies are about the only thing I can make. Well, I can sort of make banana bread, but that doesn't really count as bread. >.> I had a nifty breadmaker I bought at a garage sale for $5, but it had no instructions and I was never bored enough to figure out how to use it so I left it in Idaho. ^^;
