I made candied yams for dinner!!! ^_____^ From a real yam! Mom had an extra one left over at thanksgiving so I took it home with me. It's been sitting on the counter and I decided today was the day. *nod* So I skinned it, chopped it into little bits, threw it in the pressure cooker, made cookies (peanut butter), took it out of the pressure cooker, sprinked it with brown sugar and butter (we have no marshmallows), and tossed it in the oven. Success! I didn't burn anything and the house is still standing! ^______^

*proud*

Also, M has two books Lulu-ready and only awaiting proofing. I am slackzor. >.>;;

Good girl! Way more complicated than I do it, but good for you. I just bake it like a potato, cut it open, add butter and a dash of cinnamon, and eat. Or Maria sometimes steams slices of sweet potato with slices of tomato, with salt and pepper. That is yum, too, though I'm more into sweet than peppery, personally.^^

Would the two of you accept help?

Well, it's just how Mom does it? ^^; So, I do like mommy. *nod* ^___^

Eh, M's only waiting on first-prints from Lulu so she can make sure it looks okay. Me, I've got photography issues. x.x *sigh* Though, I'll prolly take you up on that if you wanna do The Dragon Isles, cause I just realized that with Blue Dragon finished, that group is complete. 9.9

^___^ Of course we do it just like mommy! Just offering alternatives ways to include sweet potatoes in your life. Mmm, beta-carotene and Vitamin A.

I can help.^^ I'm... not quite halfway through a 90,000 word story that the author wants before Christmas, but as soon as that is done, I can work on yours. Or as 'study' breaks.^^ Feel free to send and I'll work at them. ^_^

I drive Mikey bananas because I keep trying to do like mommy and that's not the way he knows. ^^;;

Heh. No rush. STILL haven't decided on those drabbles. >.> Maybe I should post a poll...

WOW.
Candied yams?
That is really cool!!!!
Considering that my family has a history of setting even pre-made things on fire (there is still a scorch mark on the ceiling), I find that REALLY impressive.

I think the most complicated thing I've ever made solo was a cheese souffle. 9.9 But most of the time I'm normally banned from the kitchen. ^^; For good reason. *grin* (What do you mean it's impossible to burn water? Those scorch marks on the concrete? Uhh... ^___^)

A cheese souffle? *impressed*
I can make chicken and mushroom pie, sponge cakes, soup, and some other stuff, but ovens are not allowed to operated by me (rules set by my former Home Economics teachers, family, classmates, and school janitors).

I can make Campbell's and instant noodles fairly easily, though. ^__________^
And cookies are LOVE... I can make them but not bake them. Someone will always do the baking.

*lol* If I didn't think it'd cost me a fortune, I'd send you cookies. ^^; But I can only wince at how much such a venture might cost to Asia. x.x;;

Thanks for the offer. *hugs*
But imagine shipping cookies overseas from... is it America? to Hong Kong. And the shipping cost can be even higher than the cost.
I once shipped a book from the US; the grand total was $80 American. Yeesh.
And I don't do online transactions after $200 was stolen somehow online.
And I just realized that I haven't added you yet. =.=
*is disconnected from reality*
And you like Ai No Kusabi too???????????? EEEEEE!!!! ^-^

Yeah. x.x When I used to get stuff shipped from Japan it always made me wince how much shipping was. Blah. x.x

Mmmm, Ai no Kusabi. *.* One of my very first yaoi animes. *purr* I collected the CDs (http://www.darkkingdom.com/ank/) too. ^^; One of these days when I have money again that Memorial Collection will be mine...

Finding Yaoi in Hong Kong is impossible, I swear.
The CDs are so fsking expensive. ;___;
Memorial Collection??????????
*DROOL*
And the ending made me tear up. All 8 times I watched it.
Money... am broke after buying second PSP... but it was the limited edition final fantasy Crisis Core, s'not my fault!

*cheers* Crunchyroll.com saved my arse. I loved it. But the ending made me tear up ;_______; And Guy is a creepy stalker. And not in a good way.

It's so romantic and angsty yet fluffy... it messes up my fangirl mind.
Iason is handsome and buff and elegant and intelligent and cultured and loyal in love. ^__________________^ Perfect man. Except for his BDSM fetish, but I could put up with that. ^________________________________________^
*sobs* And the last line about 'Deep Kiss' and the way they leaned against each other and the Black Moon Cigarettes... ...

She wrote some fiction based in Rietko Yoshihara's Ai No Kusabi universe.
I'm not that keen on the BDSM, but the rest of it isn't too bad. Unfortunately now she's locked it up and you can only read the first few chapters of the first few books.

I actually bought the second and third parts, but the third has yet to appear. Considering that I actually shelled out $80 bucks, equals $560 over here for them, I IS NOT HAPPY. A book over here is maybe $150 Hong Kong at most.
But then Hong Kong does not have yaoi bookstores, doujin, or anime cons.

Ahh... but why does she have to publish anyway?? *sulks* but the art is lovely. ^__________^
And this time, I remembered to log in BEFORE posting. *does victory pose*
