Well, I can see that I will not be doing polls again. They're incredibly depressing. :( Ticky boxes are apparently far more interesting than stories, given that I posted one of each on the same day and got 40 people interested in the ticky boxes while only 11 liked the story. :(

Worse, to my mind, are the 25 people who voted for Red Dragon. To me, that says that 25 people have read the story, but less than half of them felt it was good enough to comment on. That's... incredibly disenheartening. No wonder I write things that only maderr ever sees...

Final Thoughts

First, an apology. I don't normally let things get to me... heck, I don't normally notice that there are lurkers, much less mind them. So I am sorry I let one incident upset me so much. :( You all are wonderful and I love you all dearly for sticking with me and enjoying my stories, as silly and pointless as they are. ^^;
