[livejournal.com profile] codenamepancake has created an absolutely wonderful Beast!Herb to grace the cover of Beauty and the Beast for Lulu. This then makes BatB the closest to 'published' of all stories, because it and the prequel Caging The Beast are both complete and nothing needs to be added to them.

So, whilst I'm pondering how to paint a suitably silly castle on cardboard, there is still one tiny problem remaining as pertains to BatB in print form.

Drabbles. x.x

As it stands, BatB only has four drabbles to its name. I am torn as to what to do with them. Forget about them and only publish the stories? Include them at the end as a kind of bonus-thing? Write some new drabbles so there aren't just four measly little offerings?

Thus I turn to you, the people to whom this decision affects the most. ^___^ For those of you who plan to pick up a copy (or coerce someone into buying it for you) I give you this poll:

[Poll #1050847]

No, you may not ask for smut. :P Though I am still pondering that dratted saddlesex smut from CtB... Also, if you have any Caging The Beast (Aiden/Sabin) drabbles in mind, now's the time to mention them.

(Pancake? How should I credit you for art? Cover cuteness by Codenamepancake? >.>)

OH! Hee. ^^ Almost forgot.
For this and any future dead-tree-format books by me, I am willing to autograph and doodle a chibi of your choice if you're willing to fork over the $$ to get the book to me and back to you. ^^; (I is broke)

INCLUDE THE FOUR DRABBLES.

>.> Are you complaining about the saddle smut?

^^ Oh no. Me wants autograph.

Of course, that's probably more of a greedy give-me-more writing reaction than anything. So even if you don't end up writing more, you should definitely include the already written. ^___^ Like a bonus, at the end. And I'd request a scene, but I need to re-read before you'd get anything other than "Beldon being snarky." ^___^

-__- Beldon's always snarky. Beldon has enough Attitude for five people.

This is what I told M, too. Publish just the story, then when people are chomping at the bit for more, send them to the internet for 'bonus material.' Or not. Depends on if you want to pull more people into your webz.

Drabbles... I'm totally brain-ded right now. I'm sure you'll have plenty help though.^_^

*hugs* Also, YAY!!

^^; Luv, the only people who would be remotely interested in Lulu books by me are the people who already know about my online writings. It's more a convenience for them that I'm doing this than any other reason. Thus why I ask the masses what they want in the book, because the book is for them. <3

How about an autographed sticky label? International shipping of dead trees is expensive (and unreliable!). It could be a pretty sticky label...

o.o I... don't own any sticky labels. >.> But I could do that. Yes I could. I'd just have to figure out where the heck to purchase such things. ^^;;

Over here that would be almost anywhere you can buy paper or envelopes! Lots of different sizes to choose from too! Maybe Wal-Mart? Or I can send you a pack!

Erk.. Herb-making I can do, but do you really want something so depressing as Sabin's last moments? x.x

As long as it's fluffier than a baby long-haired bunny I'm always happy! Actually, even if it isn't I'm happy. I'm really low maintenance! XD
More! More! Drabbles! Wee!

Hee, that works.

I think I'll be able to get the little guys in the mail by next week or so. (I'm up at college and they're back home.)

Can't wait to see their cardboard castle!

Yay for mail-order chibis! (Man, Beldon is going to be so irritable after going through the US postal system!)

Maybe paperboard... *ponderponder* I think I have a piece big enough... 9.9

I'm a fan of the "draw people to your website with promise of drabbles!" plan.

But... the people would be going FROM my website TO the book, not the other way around... o.o;;

I love this replying via email thing.

Well, sure, at the beginning they would be, but what if someone buys the book without going through the website? It could happen!
