It's a hair and face thing, I'm sure. ^^; (Casual and relaxed is so not Lucien. That man will forever be a Hunter, even in the safety of home.) I kind of wanted to do the scene from Darkness Rising where Lucien's been fighting Sheridan and Ciaran wanders in looking all sleepy and leans on him for snuggles... 9.9 But... x.x Yeah. If I can't even get just their heads right... x.x;;; Mergh. Plus, it occurs to me in thinking about that scene that Ciaran should be shorter than I made him... x.x;; Oops. *headdesk*

^^; It's not so much that I'm hard on myself rather than Lucien and Ciaran are one of my favorite couples and I'm pissed that I can't seem to do them justice. *sigh*

I like the posture and feeling coming from this drawing.
I'm utterly unable to draw (even a 3 years old child is better than me_true and shameful) so I'm kind of in awe of people able to draw like you do and I'm no good to talk about techniques and all so I'll just say once again that I think it's a nice one and it give me a good feeling when I see it, you can also feel emotion coming from it.
I hope you will soon make another one, an improved one than will make you feel better.
That's for the drawing, for the couple in itself it's one of my favorites so I'm happy and like it!

hmmm.... if you want to make ciaran to look younger, make his face a li'l more "rounded" but this is alright for now. i actually imagine him to look like the image i have of the vampire Armand from Anne Rice's vampire series.... with curly red hair. ^^"
