I always make notes before I write. It helps me sort out my thoughts. ^^; Then I have two files open when I'm writing. The notes file on the left, and the story file on the right! *dork*
Well, M hates updating her site, and it usually takes her an entire weekend to do it, time in which she could be writing more yummy stories, but the poor little masses are so totally missing out on sparkly storyness when she doesn't, sooooo.... as M's Official Secretary-slash-Tygatipedia, it fell to me! *strikes a pose*
I just remembered why notes don't work for me. ^ ^ My characters always develop a life of their own and make me type out stuff that ends up being totally different from what I originally planned. So now I just let the words flow. >< I can't believe I forgot my own writing techniques (if they're actually called techniques).
M's stories are ALWAYS yummy. Too bad I haven't even started on Chaos. I feel like I'm missing out on something. *am totally not mentioning the fact that I wasting a whole weekend on reading and re-reading Stone Rose*

Heh. That's how M does it too. If she makes notes, she winds up scrapping them two chapters in cause the chars decided they were doing something else, thankyouverymuch. ^^; Me, I cling to my notes. Red Dragon is the only one in a long time that I've written with only minimal notes.
