tygatiDidn't get the promotion. I'm too smart. They're afraid I'll get bored. What a slap in the face.
I had a whole post typed up since I'm two weeks behind but Semagic ate it and I'm very not in the mood to retype it all. Therefore, you get links.
Monday the 13th Dez and I went to Salem for nail polish and bread. She posted pictures.
This Monday we went on a baking spree. I made cheesecake. It was divine.
And of course there is always nail polish.
My peacock polish. Started with a basecoat of OPI Alpine Snow, then a gradient of Zoya Apple, Zuza, Tallulah, Mimi, and Gilda. Topped it off with China Glaze Fairy Dust for extra sparkle.
Dez's nails were an experiment in gradient shapes, using her nail polishes for once instead of mine. :3 They are KleanColor 74 Red Heart, Nicole by OPI NIG14 Scarlett, and SinfulColors 929 Let's Talk.
The foul weather got to me and I abandoned my brights for a more subdued Butter London Knackered that I picked up in Salem. It looks... very different on the nails than in the bottle, but everyone who saw it loved it so I guess that's something?
This week's Dez nails, a complimentary gradient of Zoya ZP492 Penny, China Glaze Deviantly Daring, and Zoya ZP551 Faye.
Mine this week, trying out another Salem purchase. OPI Bright Lights Big Color, with Nina 709241 Holographic Topcoat for sparkle. (and some dots, we'll ignore my lousy dots) It's not quite the right coral that I was looking for, so I may be looking to trade this one with someone.
Mikey had the week off, so I got to paint his nails too. I don't remember what I used, but his dentist really liked them and called in other people to come see. :3 There was some green near the base, but I must've photographed the wrong hand. >.>;
Now I'm going to go back to hunting for childhood crap on ebay.
