tygatiLet's see. Spring seems to have finally shown its face. We've been flirting in the 65-69 range this past week, supposedly going to get a little over 70 in the week to come. It's about time. Hopefully it'll improve my mood so I'm not so tetchy.
Last week whenamatsubu came over, I went a little crazy in doing her nails.
Caterpillars on one hand, butterflies on the other, every one of them different. :3
So then, when I did mine, I had little energy left for anything particularly fancy.
Mind you, my definition of fancy is a little different... ^^; Ladybugs!
I chipped them about three days in, so then I did a solid Zoya, promptly chipping it the next day at work. It's almost always the wire wheel that I chip nails on. Dumb machine. Didn't get a picture of that, but Omg I can't recommend Zoya Faye enough. It's a gorgeous shimmery mauve with a golden sheen. Yum. Also has the benefit of looking fairly professional. It'd be a good job interview polish, I think.
After that I slapped on a quick China Glaze that was boring, but it got me through my dentist appointment on Monday. Amatsubu came over after that, and I did hers again with a summer-neon gradient that I promptly forgot to get pictures of. *pokesamatsubu* Gimmie pics.
Hers turned out so nice that I decided to throw a quick gradient on me too.
I didn't wait for them to dry properly though, so they've got a ton of flaws and weirdness and chipping at the tips. Ah well. My bad. China Glaze on the purple and green, Zoya for the blue.
Today Dez's mom mowed the lawn while Dez and I played with the weedwhacker and blower. Then I put together my little patio table and chairs set which is super cute and we're going to have to have a picnic/BBQ next week. <3 Hopefully we can play badmitton too, if I can figure out where in the depths of the garage my set is. >.>;
Then after they left for puppy class, I vacuumed. Still need to do the stairs, but it looks so much better.
Now I'm just watching John Carter and trying to convince myself not to buy new nail polish. x_x
