I hate winter. Fall too, because it's basically just Winter, Jr.

It's cold. I hate cold.

It's raining. Normally I don't mind the rain, but somehow rain in winter just seems melancholy and lonely and... bleah.

But worst of all, the days are so dark, and short, and getting shorter, and what little sunlight we do get has to make it through heavy layers of rainclouds and it's just... meh.

I'm a sun-worshipper. But even if I turn on every light in the house, all of which are sunlight bulbs, it's still not enough. So I compensate with sugar and hope that I can pass off hyper as happy.

Meh.

Um... it's really hot and dry and only going to get hotter and drier, my aircon is shoddy, my house has very little insulation and my garden is in very great danger of shrivelling up and dying? Does that help at all? No? Didn't think so. Bloody weather. *grumbles*

I'll trade you. Heat I can handle. Cold, notsomuch.

Hmmm... but how to achieve it? Swap lives for a few months? But I don't have a passport, so that might be tricky.

Mm, neither do I, come to think of it. I should remedy that some day. Mine expired ten years ago. >.>;

Reading this comment I almost feel bad for being excited about the heavy clouds rolling in and the cold weather. Its funny because I love the heat, not the cold, but I'm still excited about it.

Oh well, I already know I'm weird.

I hope you get enough sugar and chocolate (chocolate helps in my opinion) to get through the dark days.

If it makes you feel any better, we don't have daylight savings here. So, it is dark when I get up in the morning, and dark when I leave work at night.

So...it can always be worse.

Just a few months until spring!

*snugs* I hope you get some sunny weather soon to help out. I bought these awesome new snow pants at Bean's last night, so I can get out more this winter. I'm hoping that will help.
