(no subject)

So this morning I went about my fuzzy still-asleep routine, checking email and all that, and eventually got up and wandered down in search of food. On my way down, I happened to glance out my bedroom window...

I'd probably be annoyed if I had to work today, and I probably will be a tad annoyed tomorrow when I have to drive in it, but it's kinda amazing how being free of the stuff for nearly two years will gradually allow you to see the beauty in it again...

Which is not to say I want to live in it again, Mme Nature, but once a year I think I can handle. :P Just don't let it stay too long. ^.~

I'm actually kinda impressed that there are people out driving in it. Most natives of this area royally freak out when the white stuff hits the streets... ^^;;

:D It's been kinda like that here for a few days. Last week it was exactly like that for two days straight. But I can still see grass under the trees! Lucky! I'm over in Wisconsin, so I'm kinda buried under a foot or so of it all yet.

It's really pretty from the vantage point of a window. It's not so pretty from the vantage point of a moving car. Much luck driving to work tomorrow.

I'm glad you're sharing pretty pictures tough. I love how trees covered in snow look.

*LOL* I was one of the crazies out driving in it this morning. My place looks similar and it's still coming down thick.

Is it all snow? It kind of look like ice rain on the first picture. We have about my height of snow outside here so we're used to driving in it but it's always dangerous. Especially since you probably don't have winter tires on your car. Be careful!!!

It sort of looks like the trees in pictures one and two are on fire and my reaction to that was: "oooh, pretty!" *facepalm*

But it is pretty. And just the idea of fire and ice coexisting is fascinating and very pretty to look at. What is the orange-y red glow, anyway? Lights?

*is so glad she lives in SC where snow is rarely if ever spotted*

That said, it's very pretty!
