People anxiety?
Mar. 1st, 2010 03:46 pmToday was errands day, aka the first day of my 'weekend'. Dropped off the rent check, went to the dentist for a cleaning, mailed off a package at the post office, went down to walmart for nose bits for my sunglasses (again).... somewhere in there I entertained thoughts of dropping on on Amatsubu, but by the time she got my message I was all but clawing the walls going "go home go home go home". >.>;
I don't think it's social anxiety, at least, it doesn't seem to fit the official definition, but I have definite limits on how long I can be in public before I get antsy. Maybe it's a side-effect of working a job that forces me to interact with hundreds of people every day, or maybe it's just my messed-up brain, but it's a tad inconvenient.
Heck, I even tend to schedule all of my errands for one day, because I know without a doubt that I will not be leaving the house tomorrow unless I have no choice. I used up all of my reserve of Going Out stamina today. Doing it two days in a row tends to leave me irritable all week. x.x
Bleah.
On the up side, my last stop was King's asian market, so I have lychee jelly, red bean mochi, some pudding-y things, and some little snack cakes that looked intriguing. >.> I only went in for the lychee jelly. *laugh*
