Sep. 10th, 2008 03:50 pmYou know what I really miss about Idaho? Decent thrift stores. I knew where every one of them were, and there were a bunch of small, semi-independent ones in addition to the Big Name stores like St. Vincent and Goodwill. Goodwill's always been something of a joke, but at least in Idaho St. Vinnie's had reasonable prices. Not so here. :P Blah. Honestly, some of this stuff I could get new for those prices.
Also, people are Stupid. I swear every time I go out, I am reminded anew of this fact.
Though the guy at the hobby place was nice. I liked him, and he answered all my questions, and the other guy was totally on top of stuff and determined to find my strange esoteric item that I was convinced I'd have to order online. He found it. Cheaper than online. That store gets total props, even if parking is a nightmare.
Now off to work for a 4 hr shift, because I still haven't learned not to answer my phone on my days off. -__-;;
