Dec. 8th, 2007 01:16 pmIt started out happy... :(
Picked up presents for my family today... and more eggnog, cause Costco had eggnog by the gallon. *.* Now all I have left is Mikey, and he's a pain to buy presents for. x.x
But I also learned today that this will be the first Christmas ever that I don't get to spend with my family, as my mother will be out of the state. I'm twenty-six years old, so I suppose it's time to grow up, but I still want to cry. The worst part is, Mikey totally doesn't understand me and family. He doesn't like his and prefers not to see them, but... holidays are all about family. :( To me anyway. *sigh*
I don't know what to do about Xmas dinner either. Traditionally we've always had ham, but that's a multi-person meal and given how Mikey's schedule has been lately, who knows if he'll even be here. :( Plus, again, there's that whole 'he doesn't care' thing, so I'm sure he'd be perfectly happy with frozen chicken bits and booze.
... I think I may be starting to understand why some people hate this holiday. ;_;

So, remember my cute little nativity scene that I hauled with me from Idaho? Yeah, well, Mikey decided to 'improve' it. >.>
( Yes, yes he did... )

Book/Drabble poll
Dec. 8th, 2007 09:26 pmSo, here's the deal. With Blue Dragon finished, the Dragon Isles series is complete. Which means it can go in a book. (Yes, I know, I'm supposed to be putting Beauty and the Beast in book format. It's entirely ready to go... except for that damned cover and my serious lack of photography skills. x.x Mergh.)
But anyway, the problem is thus: Drabbles.
As it stands, the book will contain The Azure and Azure Seas, as well as all colors from The Dragon Isles: Silver,
maderr's Black, Grey, Red 1&2, and Blue.
I'm wavering on whether or not to include drabbles. There are some cute ones for The Azure: Nae & Torhle, Lanthus-baiting, and Homecoming.
Unfortunately, drabbles for the Dragon Isles are rather boring by comparision: Sand and Sea, Possessions, Family, and History.
But then there's M's Black Dragon drabbles which are just totally cute and hot.
Soo... what to do, what to do?
[Poll #1103031]
*I should note, if you choose the 'write new ones' option, you'd better be prepared to give me some scenerios. x.x
