Sick. x.x Started feeling wonky yesterday, came home, took Zinc & Vitamin C, decided to sleep on it. Tossed and turned and felt hot and miserable all night. x.x Went to work this morning, decided around 10:30 that vertigo and ladders really didn't mix and came home early. Crawled into bed, closed eyes. Opened eyes. Huh. Clock lost an hour. Close eyes. Open eyes. Huh, lost another hour. Close eyes. Round about 3:45 realize M's been home for a quarter of an hour and drag my sorry ass out of bed. x.x Blah. I want dayquil.
I have discovered something at work, and that is that I don't really hate kids. I hate their parents. *nod* Because while these days most kids you see are as badly behaved as the ones who were loud and obnoxious and taking all the paint chips that I was trying to restock, some of them are cute and well-behaved, showing they've been brought up properly. Like the chibi who let me hold her stuffed bunny when I crouched down to say hello, or the bigger chibi who was so totally bored with Mommy's shopping that she decided she needed to help me stock paint brochures. SO CUTE deciding how many would fit. ^____^
Also, in latching onto a new comics pretty (The Authority, Wildstorm comics) I have remembered why I don't like western comics. First they drag stories on forever and ever and ever so they can make money and not actually tell a story, and second there's that whole 'multiple writers' thing so while the first writer may have established some kickass characters and scenarios, the ones that come after don't quite seem to understand wtf they're writing about so you lose the kickass characters and get big explosions and gorier fight scenes instead. *siiiiigh* I am so totally character-driven on stuff. I don't care how 'exciting' it is, it's all about the people for me. Blah. -__-
*goes to crawl back into bed and pass out again*
P.S. Whoever told me to watch Due South? Thank you. <3
