Roses have thorns

Ugh. Tried to tie the rosebush to the house (it fell over in the heavy rains) and it pricked me. ;_; Now it's itchy as hell, even though I put gooey medicine stuff on it. *fidgets like crazy*

Went grocery shopping today. Am quite pleased with WinCo. They beat Wal-Mart's prices on the majority of foodstuffs I picked up. Guess good ol' Wally World doesn't do comparison shopping around here... ¬ ¬ Shame on them. That's a company program.

Also got the soap for the steam cleaner I borrowed from Mom in the hopes of getting some of the stink/color/bugs/etc out of the carpet. x.x Really seeing the benefits to buying... :P It's driving both Mikey and I crazy that we can't 'improve' the place without it being a complete waste of money. There's just so much that should be 'fixed' and having grown up in a home my mother owned, I'm used to having carte blanche to just go do it. x.x

Siiiigh. ¬ ¬ Though I swear, if no grass starts growing once I get all the clover killed, I am starting my own little backyard garden. :P
