The Ice Princess may just be the most amusing ship I've ever heard of. From the interior decorating to the fact that it can look like a dragon, it is pure love. And the crew are just wonderful! I love how Tau Ceti's had to handpick every one - especially the captains - and has ended up with a bunch of over hormonal, flamboyant lunatics.
Quotes that were love: "We're down one security guy after Q'inn here broke the last one's arm," Jayce explained with a shrug. "And leg, pelvis, three ribs, clavicle..." Dralikkzion murmured. Q'inn shrugged. "I said I was sorry." Hooray for tetchy security guards!
Two of Xalin's hands landed on his shoulders while a third rubbed at his back comfortingly. "You are allowed to customize the decor to suit your own personal tastes as much as you'd like." Burying his face in his hands, Ekaitz moaned quietly. Just for the fact that you had a character with four arms, and made it work really well.
Meiki tossed off a cheerful thank you to their 'rescuers' ("Meiki, really. Kiss Kiss? You are an embarrassment to Internal Affairs," Jayce muttered.) Because Meiki is my favourite. Oh yes he is... -tickles him under the chin- He's so crazy and destructive and fun...
What else to say? Ekaitz was very cool with how he remained calm despite Tau Ceti's taunting and the madness of his crew... Although I must say that when Ekaitz and Sigma were fighting, a good deal of my mind was gleefully cackling “Morpheus is fighting Neo!” because I watched the Matrix yesterday and I really am that geeky.
Tau Ceti was as usual amazing, and his frantic fear when Sigma was missing made me sad for him. Poor Gremlin. I also loved his line "I don't work for the High Chancellor," Tau Ceti replied, just as quiet. "I never have. Chancellor is just a title. A word. Like engineer... or Captain." because I adore the fact that he is so devoted to Pyotr.
It was also very cool to meet Delta and Tria: they're amusing in their similarity. I particularly liked how they initially appear unfeeling, but when Delta and Sigma were locked up together it's obvious that they're actually really close.
And finally, Jei. He was an interesting one: I was very surprised when he turned out to be a spy, and unutterably relieved when he reformed himself. I was, however, a little started when he bonded to Meiki so suddenly - I would have thought they'd seen each other before that moment? But perhaps not.

And it had a happy ending. Yay for happy endings!
