Marbles

>.> So, yeah. [livejournal.com profile] starparty did her question thing, and I asked her how many marbles in the Skippy peanut butter jar. What she didn't know was that I actually have marbles in a Skippy peanut butter jar. ^^; Have for years. Amuses the hell out of people when I run around going "I lost my marbles!" and then they about die laughing when I do find them and hold them up triumphantly. ^__^

307 marbles, 7 rocks, 1 shooter, and one overgrown ball bearing
The tin is unopened, and the plastic baggie has special marbles that go to a game. ^_^

And this is what they look like with the flash on. o.o Oooooh... pretty...

Sadly enough, marbles aren't the only stupid thing I collect. I also have a plastic silverware collection that dates back to high school. >.> Yes, there is a reason. No, I'm not going to humiliate myself further by elaborating. ^^; Though I guess it's not really any worse than collecting stamps or rocks... 9.9

Umm...okay, I'm not going to ask...

No, wait--I *have* to ask: why do you collect disposible utensils...?

LOL

*blush, sigh* Okay... in HS, when you get hot lunch, a milkshake/ice cream thing comes with it. At my HS, every milkshake had a plastic spoon pre-stuck in it. >.> I thought that was a terrible waste of spoons to be thrown away every day, so I started saving them. >.> Eventually it turned into me saving airplane utensils and restaraunt ones and... yeah. *sheepish grin* I have a couple of nifty ones, and some sporks, and the all-mighty Icee straws! ^.~

LOL, that's so great. :) I think the best things to collect are those things that have individual value for personal, quirky reasons.

Marbles are freakin' pretty. Too bad I'm allergic to collecting things. ^____^

(Also, why are you not online for me to bug? I'm bored in a computer lab and have forty minutes to kill!)

I used to have a marble collection but not anymore. Now it's all gooooooone. What do I collect now? Um...stories on my comp. And pictures on my comp. Physically? Books. Lots and lots of them.

I don't collect so much as horde. I have collections of bookmarks, foreign coins, unicorns, boxes, rocks, and just about anything else I get more than three of. I will also periodically take all the things I've collected out, handle them, and then put them back exactly how I want them.

I love my shinies.

CAN'T. STOP. LOOKING. AT. THE. PRETTY. O_O

ooooooooooooooooh!

DUde, I was WAY off. I need to send you some more marbles now ^^

And, Kitty Dear, check my user info... you aren't the only one that collects whacked out shit ^^; *luffs you*

Shiiiiiny. ;)

*laugh* I luvs my marbles. Back home we had this awesome thingie called Marbleworks where you put the pieces together like a marble racetrack and LET EM RIP!!! *_____* It was great. Especially when you aimed the 'jump' piece down the stairs and ended up with a horde of marbles bouncing down the stairs. *purr* Mama was not pleased with us. ;)

o.o ... ketchup packets. Okay. I think you win. ^^;
