Thank you, quick-thinking co-workers. x_x
See, eight or so months ago, there was this guy who was sort of flirting with me, and okay, a couple of my customers do this, and I thought nothing of it, except that he kept coming back. (and asking me to coffee or something) So finally I figured, hell, why not, except that then he decided, oh no, he had a girlfriend, so he couldn't possibly, and I'm just thinking so why the f*ck were you hitting on me and telling me how attracted you were if you have a girlfriend already?!?! -___-
So, he disappeared after that, and all was fine. Until a month or two ago when he showed up again. Acting like the whole girlfriend conversation never happened. Asking me how I was and personal stuff entirely unrelated to the work environment which I was in. And he kept coming back, on evenings when I was closing and there weren't enough customers to distract myself with. x_x
So then tonight, he's back yet again, and I make a passing whimsical "Rescue me!" comment to Tim in paint, as I attempt to figure out how to get out of Mr. Amorous's attentions yet again, when I hear Tim calling me over the radio cause one of their computers is acting up. Okay, I go over... to find that the computer is working just fine and Tim has manufactured an imaginary problem to keep me away from lighting. Oh thank god.
Then, as I'm attempting to look busy fixing stuff, Steven comes back from break and is informed of the whole mess (apparently Stalker-guy had asked Tim about me earlier, which is how Tim knew I was serious asking for rescue) so Steven decides to run interference and basically covers my department while I hang out in paint until the guy finally leaves.
I love my co-workers. Especially when our paint stocker, Sean, who moonlights as a Deputy Sheriff, volunteered to drag him out of the store by his hair. ^^;;
