Trip to Portland

So, yesterday I took off for Portland to go visit doll people. ^_^ Was originally planned to be just me and Rishi hitting up the local thrift stores cause the ones here suck, but Lilac had the day off too so we snatched her up and had a grand time. ^_^ Picked up a pretty jewelry box (yeah, just what I need, another one) and a couple of doll-sized chairs. Oh, and a briefcase to put Tian's clothes in. ^^

Then we went back to Lilac's place for food and painting of her James's head, cause his faceup was flaking off. Much insanity occurred while James was headless.



Like, oh, dressing James' headless body in Tian's lacy black panties. *GRIN*

*cough* Tian took offense to Blue being a little too cozy with Token. ^__^

Then Lilac was feeling dizzy so Rishi and I set out on our own to hunt down Uwajimaya, the asian supermarket in Portland (and Seattle). I was most upset that Uwajimaya no longer seems to carry Koala's March. ;_; I guess I'll have to mail-order them. Sadness. Instead, I picked up some strawberry soy milk and a roll thing. Yay food.

We went back to Rishi's place, met Rishi's SO (who is a massive geek, heh) and passed out. The next morning, though, silly and sleepy us got up to no good and had a grand time dressing and posing the boys.






Token is a good little (tall) uke-thing.




And does 'total submissive' very, very prettily. <3




Although he did manage to look somewhat seme-ish for a few minutes. ^_^

Of course... at some point, I put Tian's lab coat on him. This then prompted a session of "Playing Doctor" *cackle*

Oh, Kitty. At least you give the dolls a good time. *grins*

Also, I actually put something in the back seat of my car today, which prompted me to notice what else was back there and... omg, is that Kitty's package?! Argh! Also, it was totally opening up on its own... someone is trying to escape. Oops! I so thought the hibernating spell was working... best mail it soon, or the postal workers might be in for a surprise. In the mean time, I'll add tape.

LOL, glad I'm not the only one. My problem is that I'm always thinking I'll find some other little fun thing to add... and then nothing catches my eye, but the package is now missing something and cannot be sent. At least in my head.

BUT! There is the cutest little shop downtown that I just heard today is going out of business. :( Maybe I'll stop by and get some cute things on sale to pop into the four boxes riding around in my car.

Well, my GPS got me to the right vicinity, then it was just a matter of two wrong turns before my brain managed to find the proper spot. ^^ at which point I updated the coordinates on my GPS. ^^;;

Tian's clothing is bought, because I can't seem to get my roomie to make stuff like he said he would. >.> I'm hoping to learn to sew, but I'm kind of abysmal at it..

:D Are those matching key necklaces I spy? I'm just going to sit here and grin like an idiot anyway because I kinda love it when a couple has matching jewelery like that. I'm a hopeless romantic that way.

I love the huge contrasting difference between the two of them. I would peg Tian as the typical uke and Token as the seme, but now that I've seen them together and who's the sub/dom they're more interesting (in a story sort of way).

*lmao* Something like that. See, Token's fullset came with his key, and its' the only thing from that set that Rishi kept. It's where he got his name, after all. ^^ So when Tian and I went to the bead store to investigate stuff, we found a tiny little key and... he had to have it. *grin*

*snicker* Yes, Tian looks way more uke-ish, but it's practically impossible for Token to be seme. Heh. They're funny. Especially when Token has to drop to his knees to get down to a reasonable height. ^^;;;

Oh I love these dolls, they are so awesome. But, and I'm going to sound so dumb, but are they characters in one of your stories? Or someone's story or something? I would love to know where they came from. I've been looking for a bit and I just can't seem to figure it out. Could someone please tell me? I'm so confused!

*laugh* That's not a dumb question. Tian is an original character not found in any story... so far. >.> I did write a single short drabblet (http://tygati.livejournal.com/287771.html) with him in it, but nothing longer than that. I believe he exists in the same 'verse as Kir (Animal Control story) and that they met at some point in the past.

Token belongs to Rishimsin, and I'm not really comfortable writing a character that isn't mine. Though she has given me permission so I may end up with more ficlets in the future. ^^;;

^.^ I wanted to do the whole cast but I gave up when I couldn't figure out what color Ekaitz eyes were. And it meant a lot of digging.

I can make it darker if you'd like? It's not that hard since I saved the avatar. Heck, you could make it darker by going to tektek.org and searching for "sigma" (actually all the characters are on there by name...except now I can't find pyotr... :( )

He's cute! ^^ I didn't realize there was a hammer because I looked for a whole lot of other tools first.
