There's one company... ah, Bobobie (http://www.bobobie.com/) that has really inexpensive dolls. I was thinking maybe late next year I'll get their 43" Song doll to be my doll's boyfriend. ^_^

Yeah that's still expensive. You're talking to the girl who bought a $5 plug at radio shack and soldered it to her broken laptop adapter..because $50 for a new one was more than that month's budget could handle.

Ah, I am usually cheap, but there are some things which must be quality or it won't last worth beans. I suppose you could say I have no middle road. It's either dirt cheap or top of the line. ^^;;; Heh.

It's kind of a massive art project. Or at least, that's most of the interest. That and the elf ears. >.> Those were just totally too pretty for my self-restraint.
But Mikey's gonna make clothes, and I can make jewelry and do the face painting, and I've already studied tutorials on making wigs and shoes, and of course there are lots of ways to make pretty wings, and the particular doll I've ordered has ears that can be changed, so I've looked into resin casting and it doesn't really look all that hard so I can make him a bunch of different kinds of ears. ^___^
