Lunch art

Lunch art. Had to cut it short when I realized what I was doodling (and how it might look to lunchroom observers) but the gist is there.

Spoilers for The Azure.

Mostly arose out of wondering if gills on mermen were sensitive... -__-; and now I realize I forgot the smaller gills on his neck... Blah.

This one I'm blaming on [livejournal.com profile] mechante_fille, btw. >.> She knows why. ^.~

Very beautiful!! I love the movement of the lines which makes it me believe it is under the water. Very nice job!!

I haven't had the chance to read The Azure yet, but I think I will have to remedy that soon!! So, I thank you for sharing this with us!!

*sweatdrop* Why is it when I put spoiler warnings people look anyway? ^^; Ahwell. Hope you like it anyway, whenever you decide to read it. <3

~ Well, I know for me, it really never matters if I get spoilers about something. Most of the time if I like the thing I am looking at or hear about, whether it is a spoiler for a movie, book or fan fiction, I will see or read it anyway. In-fact I always make my niece or friends tell me about movies (which may also include the ending) that they have seen that I want to see.

Spoilers have never been known to stop me, so that is why I looked, but for some if they look then they won't continue on to experience whatever they got a sneak-peak at.

I think also since I had read some of your other stories and saw your artwork before, I wanted to see what you had drawn, but it really won't stop me from reading the story. So no worries. (o';'o)

Heh. I think the main reason I tend to get frustrated with it is because a few of my stories are set up as deliberate mysteries, and a lot of my drabbles and artwork totally spoil the mysteries, so there's really not much plot left once that's gone. The Azure isn't so bad, because I drop enough hints that it's not hard to guess, but it drives me batty when people do it with Prince/Wizard/Dragon because I was really proud of how that one worked...

I can certainly understand how you feel and I am glad that I know that now. So, from now on, I will make a point not to look, so that I won't know the surprise.

It will be hard to do, (o';'o) but since I like what you do so much, I can be patient until I finally get to all of your stories!! ^__^

*laugh* The Azure really isn't that long. Hell, it all fits into a single LJ post, which means under 11,000 words. Most of my early stuff is pretty short. *sheepish* I am a far better short story writer than long story writer. ^^;;;

READ EEEETTTTT!!!!!!

Seriously, it is a really nice work and you should try to find the time to gather all the chapters and read it at your leisure. ^_~
