Dear Muses
Dear Muses,
No, we are not creating a bloody Magical Girlwho's really a boy no matter how much the idea makes you giggle like madmen. Nuh uh, not happening, no way no how.
Shut Up. >.<
No Love,
Me.

Red eyes glinted in the darkness, lending the silhouette a demonic aspect. "Giovanni," the unknown vampire whispered, and next to her John halted abruptly. His gun dropped to the floor with a clang, and it couldn't be a good thing because in all the time she had known him, John had never been phased enough to lose his weapon.
"Giuliano." One name, and there was disbelief and something quite painful that did not fit what Marie knew of the man in John's normally controlled voice. When the other vampire merely nodded, John's eyes narrowed and turned a glossy pink that always signalled he was about to snap.
Not being in a suicidal mood, Marie took her queue and drew back, grabbing Sam and Eric in the process. Peter had already retreated close to the door, and was studying John with visible interest.
"You pompous son of a bitch! You’re supposed to be dead!" Oh, their team leader was really pissed, you could tell. The other vampire was really screwed now.
Or not. It only caused the guy to hop on the edge and sit down on the balustrade, cross his legs and generally look relaxed.
"The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated," he said, and his lips twitched as John bared his fangs at him.
"Don't go quoting Mark Twain at me like nothing has happened! Roman bastard!"
"Barbarian scum!"
From there on, the discussion degenerated into a continuous string of swearwords flung back and forth between the two. Marie was pretty sure most of the other guy - Giuliano, John had called him - were not Italian, and John's were something vaguely German-sounding. In any case, it was pretty entertaining.
The other members of the team didn't seem to find it so. Once most of them were done gaping at the two vampires, they started eyeing the one on the balcony with something bordering on lust. Not that they should be blamed; finding someone who could aggravate John to the point he forgot about having an audience was an interesting enough person. Vampire. Whatever.
The volley of curses ended as abruptly as it had began, and the brunette hopped down from the balustrade he’d been balancing on, landed on his feet and - again, to everyone's gaping and gasping - simply slung his arms around John's shoulders and kissed him quite passionately.
Marie swore viciously and grabbed the camcorder. There was no way she wasn't taping this for posterity, and John be damned if he objected.
If he ever found out, that was. He was quite distracted at the moment.
