1) XD! It figures totally that Sigma would rescue himself. Or at least, that he'd do a great deal of it before his rescuers appeared. 2) O_____O Dude. Jei has balls. I'll give him that. *pets Jei* I loooooves him. He's scared and sorry and in a really rough situation, and yet you can make him seem so incredibly strong. And oh, OH! do I love how he comandeered the ship to go rescue Sigma without breathing a word of it to Ekaitz and Tau. Balls. And the couples and Ekaitz and Jei working it out and...*melts into happy puddle of gooness* 5) This was SO COOl: He understood all at once what Tau Ceti was trying to tell him. He also understood why the Ice Princess's former captains had been unable to get along with the man. Why he could so easily have failed. All too often people allowed themselves to become defined by their positions rather than by who they were. Like his cousin, they believed that respect should be accorded them due to their rank rather than having to earn it like an ordinary man.
Tau Ceti respected Pyotr Kavalerov because he was Pyotr Kavalerov.
