>.> I am not coordinated enough to cover my floor. I'd trip and kill myself. o.o;;; ... >.> Not that you are much better. Go, child. Clean thy room so that you do not die of a broken neck. ^^;;
Ah, I tried the airbrush thing but never had the patience. I'm more of a gouache-and-ink girl myself. ;) The only thing I miss about PCs is open canvas, 'cause boy does the Wacom shine in that program.
Books are love, but they are a fatal love. I think I'm seriously going to spend the most money of my whole trip to study abroad just trying to get the books I acquired back home. D'oh.
*grin* Maybe patience is why I'm not real sure where my nice fancy airbrush pen is... ^.~ Gouache I have, never opened, and ink I love dearly but make a huge mess with. >.>; Klutz, that is me...
OC and I have never gotten along real well. 9.9 Pity. I've seen people do beautiful things with it. ^^;
*sweatdrop* You can't just pick up British copies? (With European covers, mmm, purr.)
I see watercolors on that there table, so I think you might like gouache. It is sort of like watercolor but layerable. Delicious, delicious layers. ;)
No, no, I meant taking home everything I've acquired since coming to Britain. XD My world was small and cold without books looking back at me from a shelf, so I have been slowly trolling the used bookstores since I got here, adding to my collection. ;)
XDD That's great. It's better than my room, but it'd probably be on par when Andrew actually gets around to removing the things from *my* closet. Currently, my bookshelf is a clothes rack and my books are all in storage under the bed or in the basementfromhell. Speaking of books, I couldn't help but look, and grin. Because was that the Elvenblood/bane/born series I saw three in a row? *saves and looks under magnifying glass* Yes! It was! And I only guessed because it was blue, two black, and what looked like Kemen's dragon form. ^_^ There was a short time when they had posted that the fourth book was going to be made, but then I couldn't find any mention whatsoever. What was with the multiple copies of a couple books? Not that I'm not guilty of the same thing - I have hard cover Eragon and Eldest twice, as well as the edition twin pack. With my luck, by the time it's over, I'll have four copies of Eragon and Eldest and two of the new E~book.
Ahem. Probably one of the things that amused me the most was the fact that you have Sesshoumaru battling with a giant croc. That made my day. Sesshoumaru figurine, hair all flappy and sword a waving, battling a wooden crocodile at least five times his size. XD
Other than those and some things I'm sure I could ramble on about your own room but would get old because it's yours, I think I'll finish this up. I mean, seriously. I was expecting more dishes. Two, three cups? And here I was under the impression that all meals in between the get together ones were eaten in front of the screen with your eyes latched on like it was a lifeline. Guess everybody can make mistakes. Oh, but wait! I was going to comment on something else. I'm sure everybody noticed the nintendo in the corner, keyboard in the closet, DS, SP and games, and a case that looks remarkably similar to my palm pilot 'grasp' stand case. MUWAHAHAHAHA! >_>
And if this does't post all the way like it did one of the last times I tried on LJ as anon, well, I'll just repost it while saying ASTERISK and PARENTHESIS every time I had them. Well, probably not, but the thought's there.
Elvenbane, yes, and I've never actually read that third book... >.> 9.9 And I could've sworn all my multiple-copies were put away... >.> Oh, the hardbacks. ^^; I keep intending on selling them... *sheepish* They've rather rare hardback omnibuses for trilogies that never had hardback releases. One of them is signed by the author. ^^
Sesshoumaru used to sit by my monitor, but I kept knocking him over and he took offense. So now he's stuck with the croc. >.> Could have been worse. I could have put him next to the Moondreamer. ^.~
Dishes migrate back downstairs every few days. ^__^ As for my games... o.o; I don't have a Nintendo. 9.9 The PS2 is downstairs. >.> Upstairs I have my Nintendo DS and Gameboy SP. That's it. ^^; But lots of cases and accessories for them. ^^;;
In the picture of the tv with all the movies and stuff, right next to the box is a game system. XD Now, I realize it might not have been nintendo -I wasn't looking that hard and saw grey with the buttons and my mind jumped. It's the grey color's fault. If it had been black, I'd have gone Genisis! but it's not. Meh.
And yeah, book three is great. Not as great as the battle between Myre and Keman, but better put together than most of Elvenblood. Of course, I'm a bit biased, because Kyrian is introduced. Definately one of those characters that I'd love to see slashed.
Um, I didn't even just mean the hardbacks. Look at your bookshelf. It's not that obvious, but you put a copy of two books over them, so it drew my attention to the other ones. Eh.
Ahahahahaha! That's not a game system! That's my laptop accessories! ^^; The controller is a Gravis Gamepad, which is like 10+ years old. *sheepish grin* It attaches to a computer game port. >.> Most computers no longer have those. ^^;;
*grin* So slash him. ^.~
o.o; Uh... 9.9 There are extra copies of Magic's Pawn and Magic's Promise because I had to have the silver cover editions... but those should be the only ones...
Alright, I can accept that. It's kind of like my copies of Inheritance I was taking about earlier, each different. But there's also Queen's Own, The Last Herald Mage, and I think I saw one more but it's a meh because of a bit of blur.
