drabble
Bored. Can't type worth crap on this stupid keyboard so can't do any serious stories. Thus you get a drabble. :P
From The Prince, The Wizard, and The Dragon, so major spoilers for that. >.>

"... he's a dragon."
Keiki grinned. "Yup."
"Keiki, dearest, have you considered that maybe he has something other than your best interests at heart? After all, dragons are known for being selfish, possessive creatures..."
Prince Keikiali'i scowled at his mother, crossing his arms and attempting to look at least quasi-responsible. "Possessive, yes, but selfish? If he'd been selfish he would have stolen me away years ago."
His mother sniffed. "You couldn't leave the palace."
"The only reason I can leave the palace now is because of his magic," Keiki pointed out with a sigh. "It's not like he's keeping me locked away in his lair or anything," Though he had threatened to do that more than once... "He's following me around wherever I want to go!"
"And he asks for nothing in return?" his mother pressed.
Keiki grinned. "Nothing I wasn't more than willing to give," he answered impudently.
His mother paled, then flushed. Keiki grinned broadly at the fact that he'd finally managed to silence his mother, revelling in it for several moments before bowing cordially. "Now if you'll excuse me, he's waiting outside and I want to go visit the towns to the west next. Good day, Mother. Father."
Keikiali'i turned and strode out, leaving his parents gaping behind him. That had been fun. More fun, however, was the expression on Ahi'kiha's face as he exited the throne room.
"So?" the dragon asked dryly, "Did they forbid you any contact with me?"
Keiki twined his arms around Ahi'kiha's neck, leaning forward so that their noses were almost touching. "They tried to convince me that you were bad and all that, but I think I convinced them that I'm perfectly fine in your care. Or possession, as the term may be for dragons."
Ahi'kiha pulled him tight, their bodies pressing together in all the right places. "Possession, yes. You are my pretty treasure, and I will not give you up to anyone."
"Oh good," Keiki beamed. "I rather like being your treasure. After all, how many people can say they have the most magificent dragon in the twelve kingdoms following them around like a lost pu-mmmmm..." The rest of his words were lost in the claiming heat of Ahi'kiha's mouth as the dragon took the most expedient way of shutting him up.
